On Thursday, February 2, distinguished benefactors, parishioners, parents, students, alumni and friends of St. Michael gathered to break ground for the new St. Michael Catholic School building. This celebration marked a major milestone in our Capital Campaign, Building on Faith and Formation.
This was a momentous occasion in our school’s proud history and the ceremony reflected this special circumstance. Our school choir provided beautiful music throughout the event and led the entire school in singing God Bless America. In addition, our second grade students accompanied our choir by signing the words to Thank You God.
Monsignor Rossi spoke during the ceremony, sharing some poignant stories about the history of our parish and school. The groundbreaking was a wonderful moment to reflect on our past and look with joyful anticipation towards our future in a new school building.
The children are so excited about their new school and the possibilities it holds for their education!
